Verona, Valpolicella and Garda Lake

Arrival in Verona and private transfer to our great four star hotel in Verona center.
We recommend that you arrive in the first afternoon, if possible, in order to have time to relax before the guided tour starts.

In the morning drive to an organic olive oil mill at a beautiful property and of course taste it!
This area produces an olive oil that is different from any other olive oil produced in Italy and from the famous Garda Lake olive oil.
Then a short drive to Soave, a very charming village with an historical castle.
This little town is very famous for the production of a great white wine “Soave” and for a “passito”, Recioto di Soave, a sweet aromatic dessert DOCG wine.
Visit to a beutiful winery to taste the very famous Soave Classico, together with other local wines such as Durello, Recioto and other local wines.

Back to Verona.
Dinner in Verona.

Today we will explore an area that borders the Verona province, but is part of the Lombardy region.
The area of Franciacorta, is very famous for the production of the best Italian Spumante.
Visit to a local winery inside a beautiful property with great view and taste the different kinds of Spumante.
Lunch at the winery.
On the way back to Verona we stop in the charming little town of Peschiera del Garda for a short walking and for a gelato or another glass of wine!

In the morning we drive to another part of Valpolicella, Valpolicella Classica.
Visit and wine tasting of Amarone and other wines at a beautiful family farm.
Lunch at a very pretty bistrot overlooking the wonderful panoramic valley.
Another Valpolicella winery in the afternoon will host us for another wine tasting.
You will taste one of the best and most prestigious Amarone wine of Valpolicella.
Back to Verona.
Dinner in Verona

Drive to Isola della Scala, in the plains south of Verona, world famous and recognized as the capital of the Vialone Nano rice, one of the best for risotto.
We will visit an ancient rice mill operating since 1650s and still owned by the same family.
The factory is considered an example of industrial archaeology.

After lunch drive to the enchanting village of Valeggio sul Mincio for an aperitif with the local wine called Lugana.
Back to Verona.

In the morning drive towards Bardolino, on Garda Lake.
Wine tasting at a winery in the hills where Bardolino wine is produced and lunch at the winery.
A stroll in Bardolino, a charming little town with a very pretty piazza with beautiful shops.
Then by private boat we reach Sirmione, considered the pearl of Garda Lake. Guided tour in Sirmione.
Back to Verona.
