Sunday – Get settled and welcome dinner, an intro to traditional regional Italian cuisine
Meeting at Bologna airport or train station. Private transfer and accommodation at a very nice apartment, private and completely independent, situated in the heart of Bologna, 5 minutes walking from the Two Towers, symbol of Bologna, and from the Teatro Comunale.
Welcome dinner for a first introduction to the traditional Emilia Romagna cuisine.

Monday – Cooking lesson and dinner
In the morning meeting with us, in front of a cup of coffee or cappuccino, for the week planning. We will give you all the informations and suggestions for your staying here, for exploring Bologna city during your free time, telling you what the city can offer you.
Then time free to have a first impact to the pretty medieval center on your own.
In the afternoon cooking lesson on traditional recipes of the region, followed by a dinner of our creations.

Tuesday –  Guided tour of Bologna
In the morning meeting with a local English speaking guide and three hours guided tour of the city to learn the history of this medieval city, full of beautiful museums, churches and art works.
After the guided visit, free time on your own for shopping or just strolling in the main roads.

Wednesday –  Shopping at the food market to buy ingredients for the cooking lesson and dinner
In the morning walk to the central food market of Bologna, called "Mercato di mezzo". It is the oldest market, one of the few survived to the birth of the big stores, where the native families of Bologna still go everyday to buy their fresh food: fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, cheese. It consists of a couple of ancient narrow streets stuffed with colorful, irresistible Italian food shops, stands, delis. Beautiful for the eye and for the taste!!

In the afternoon cooking lesson on family recipes. Dinner of what we have prepared together.

Thursday –  Day in Venezia, Firenze, Milano, Ravenna, Ferrara or Parma
In the eary morning leave for Venezia, Firenze, Milano, Ravenna, Ferrara or Parma by train. Arrival and guided visit of the city with a local guide, English speaking, who will show you the most beautiful places of the city and explain about the history.
Free time to stroll in the town, then back to Bologna by train.

Friday –  Cooking lesson and farewell dinner
Morning on your own for your last shopping and walk in Bologna.
In the afternoon cooking lesson where we will prepare the recipes for our farewell dinner.

Saturday – Departure day
Take your time! Then we will take you to Bologna airport or train station.

The apartment, private and completely independent, is situated in the heart of Bologna, 5 minutes walking from the Two Towers, symbol of Bologna, and from the Teatro Comunale.
The apartment -60 sqms- is situated in a historical building that dates in some parts from the 13th century. It is at the second floor -no lift- and is composed of a large living room with kitchen area, one bathroom with bathtub/shower and one bedroom. The apartment is furnished with two twin extralong beds (39" x 80"), air conditioning in the bedroom, laundry machine, television with video recorder, CD player, hairdrier, heating, refrigerator, all bed, table and bath linen.
