Sunday, December 14
Benvenuto in Italia (Welcome to Italy)! Marcello and Raffaella welcome us with open arms at the Bologna Train Station or airport. We drive to our hotel in Dozza, Monte del Re, in the beautiful hills of Bologna. This will be our home for the next six days.
Introduction to Fearless Writing – 5 to 7pm – 2 hours
Relax before dinner. Take a stroll or take a nap, then at 5pm meet with Crescent and your fellow Passionate sojourners for an introduction to Fearless Writing, held at the hotel. 
Then, after a welcome aperitif, awaken your appetite to a "welcome to Italy" dinner at a restaurant in the hill, typical Italian, filled with local families, with beautiful view of the valley.  
Back to the hotel.

Monday, December 15
1^st Fearless Writing Lesson – 9 to 13am – 4 hours
After breakfast at the hotel, join Crescent for the first in-depth session of Fearless Writing. Light lunch at our hotel.
2^nd Fearless Writing Lesson – 3 to 4pm – 1 hour
After a pause for reflective time --- use it to write, nap, or explore on your own, we will regroup at 3pm for 1 hour. 
Travel to Nicola’s restaurant for our first cooking lesson. Chef Nicola is our teacher at his own restaurant on recipes featuring aromatic herbs, all of which are simple, easy to prepare that delight the palate.
3^rd Fearless Writing Lesson – 6 to 7pm – 1 hour (at Nicola’s restaurant)
After the cooking lesson there will be a quick wrap-up Fearless session at Nicola’s restaurant. Then we will feast on the splendors we have created in our cooking lesson.
Back to the hotel.

Tuesday, December 16
4^th Fearless Writing Lesson – 8 to 11am – 3 hours
After breakfast Fearless Writing Session with Crescent for 3 hours.
Then we leave to Dozza area for visiting a local winery, run by two young brothers, very nice and friendly. Their wines have received many important awards even in the US! Their old family house has been renewed recently and they have done also a small “agricultural tool museum” with all the old tools that belonged to their grandparents. They own even a beautiful loom still working.
We will taste many of their wine production: Pignoletto, Sangiovese, Merlot, Albana passita. Light lunch at the winery with cheese, piadina, fry pizza, salad and ciambella all home made.
5^th Fearless Writing Lesson – 2,30 to 5,30pm – 3 hours (at the winery)
After lunch fearless writing lesson at the winery.
Back to our hotel and dinner.

Wednesday, December 17
6^th Fearless Writing Lesson – 8 to 10am – 2 hours
After breakfast Fearless Writing session at our hotel for 2 hours.
Then we leave to Faenza, to visit Max ceramic studio and shop and a kitchen tool shop. Free time for shopping or walking. Light lunch in the area.
Then we leave to the countryside, to Elena’s farmhouse for another fantastic cooking lesson. On the way we will admire the beautiful panorama.
Elena runs a small agriturismo with few rooms in the hills with her daughter. Elena grows her chickens, vegetables, grapes and olives so for our cooking lesson and dinner we will use fresh eggs, her own home made tomato sauce, her own wine and extra virgin olive oil.
Elena is the best for hand made pasta. We will prepare cappelletti with cheese filling and passatelli in vegetable broth, ravioli with ricotta, tagliatelle and more. We will have a lot of fun!!
7^th Fearless Writing Lesson – 2,30 to 5pm – 2,5 hours (at Elena's)
Dinner at the farmhouse with the best pasta of your life.
During the dinner we will taste the new extra virgin olive oil -the best extra virgin olive oil of the region- and also the truffle.

Thursday, December 18
8^th Fearless Writing Lesson – 8,30am to 12,30am – 4 hours
After breakfast meeting for a 4 hour session of Fearless Writing.
After such a long session we need a break and a good light lunch. We will drive to one of the most beautiful Italian bars of the region, with a huge variety of panini, gelati, fruit, salads, coffee, cappuccinos, wine and so on, where we will have our wonderful light lunch.
After lunch drive to an agriturismo in the countryside in the area where one the best green asparagus of Italy are produced.
9^th Fearless Writing Lesson – 3 to 5pm – 2 hours (at the agriturismo)
At the agriturismo we will have a Fearless session with Crescent.
Cooking lesson at the agriturismo followed by dinner. During the cooking lesson we will enjoy the live music.

Friday, December 19
After breakfast, at 7,30 we will leave for today's visit to the maker of Parmigiano Reggiano. We will see all the steps in the production of the "King of cheeses", learn of its various culinary uses and finish the visit with a Parmigiano tasting. You will never again reach for that shaker of "parmesan" for your pasta after this tour. 
Then we drive to visit a Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena (Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena) producer. Witness every step in the process of making the "King of Vinegars." You will discover how Balsamico is produced, its use in the kitchen and how to recognize the real one!
Then we leave to a beautiful restaurant in Modena where we will have a brief cooking demonstration with Chef Luigi.
Wonderful lunch at Luigi’s on dishes featuring Parmigiano Reggiano and Aceto Balsamico.
Back to the hotel.
10^th Fearless Writing Lesson – 4 to 8pm – 4 hours
Fearless session for 4 hours, then light dinner.

Saturday, December 20
11^th Fearless Writing Lesson – 8 to 10am – 2 hours
After breakfast, 2 hour Fearless session with Crescent.
Drive to Bologna to visit the central food market where we will learn to shop as the locals do. Feast your eyes on the colorful cornucopia. After the market, free time for shopping –in this period there is a warm Christmas atmosphere and the most of the shops are open all day- or guided visit with an English speaking guide. Lunch free.
Back to our hotel.
12^th Fearless Writing Lesson – 5 to 8pm – 3 hours
Fearless writing session at the hotel.
After the lesson, we will have our farewell dinner at Monte del Re restaurant. Umberto will prepare for us something very special.

Sunday, December 21
13^th Fearless Writing Lesson – 8 to 10am – 2 hours
After the breakfast our last session with Crescent.
And now the sad moment when we leave all of the friends that we have made over the last week, including Marcello, Raffaella, and Crescent.
