Bologna, capital of Emilia Romagna region -Italian food lovers' paradise- is known all around the world for its tortellini, lasagne and tagliatelle with ragu’ alla Bolognese.

For those who want to learn how to make typical dishes of Emilia-Romagna and spend a day with a typical Italian family, we organize daily cooking lessons in Bologna center at a private home.

In the morning meeting in Bologna center and visit the colored food market, called “Mercato di mezzo”, where the most beautiful food shops of Bologna are located. The mouthwatering windows show all the Italian first quality products such as prosciutto di Parma, culatello di Zibello, mortadella, zampone, salami, parmigiano reggiano cheese, ricotta, season fruits and vegetables and much more.

During our walking tour in the market we will buy the ingredients for our afternoon Italian cooking lesson. You can choose the dishes that you want to learn among a list of several menues.

The cooking class will be held in English in the kitchen of a private home in Bologna center with a typical Italian family cook; it will be very pleasant to stay together cooking, talking and drinking a glass of wine. The lesson lasts about 3 hours or more and includes the dinner and selected regional wines; after the lesson we will have dinner enjoying the food that you have prepared.
